As we end the 2018-19 season there is still time for rugby success. Congratulations to James Sewell, Adam Brough, Sam Wilson and Mark Watson who were selected for the senior men’s Cumbria assessment/trial day. Also to Grant Seward who has been brought into programme as a development player and will be training with the squad through out to help further his rugby progress. Unfortunately James was away and didn’t make the day but Adam, Sam and Mark were then selected for the county programme. Unfortunately Mark and Sam have had to withdraw from the squad due to injury but Adam is still going strong and we wish him the best for the 3 game programme which starts this Saturday away v North Midland if selected in the match day squad. Chris Wright is also the forwards coach working alongside James Gough as backs coach and Dan Bowman has head coach, Gary Hewer is performance manager.

Cockermouth Wasps also provided 4 players in the Cumbria U17 squad who won away today at Durham, fantastic result and great to see Ben Irving on the score sheet. Also playing, the game was at Darlington, with Ben were jack lewis, joe Beaty and Leo Morgan. Well done lads keep up the great work.
